Loughor Parish

Loughor Parish has two churches:

St Michael’s stands near Loughor castle and the road and rail bridges across the river Loughor heading west towards Llanelli.  It is a traditional church, surrounded by a churchyard.

St David’s is on Glebe Road at the corner with Whitley Road.  A new, dual purpose building with a car park behind it.

The Priest in Charge, after the Rev Ian Drew-Jones move to Manselton, is the Rev Dr Adrian Morgan, also Priest in Charge of Gorseinon.  In addition to Sunday and midweek services, Togs (a Parent/Carer and Toddler Group) meets in St David’s, and there is a Bible Study.

There is a Church in Wales webpage
