Loughor Parish has two churches:

St Michael’s stands near Loughor castle and the road and rail bridges across the river Loughor heading west towards Llanelli.  It is a traditional church, surrounded by a churchyard. Sadly the cost of extensive maintenance, together with the difficulties of an exposed Victorian building, cold and damp, unable to upgrade facilities, and with a declining attendance, mean that services here will end at Easter 2021.

St David’s is on Glebe Road at the corner with Whitley Road.  A new, dual purpose building with a car park behind it.

The Rev Dr Adrian Morgan is Vicar of the newly united Parish of Casllwchwr and Gorseinon.  In addition to Sunday and midweek services, Togs (a Parent/Carer and Toddler Group) meets in St David’s, and there is a Bible Study.
